The Avon Arts Association will hold its monthly meeting along with hosting an artist Demo by Carol Ganick on Tuesday January 17, 2017 7:00 pm in Avon Town Hall, Building #1, 60 West Main St, Avon CT, 06001. The artist will demo with watercolors and is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served during the meeting and the demo.

She will also conduct a workshop on January 21 from 9:30 am to 2 pm at the same location. Workshop fee is $35 for members and $45 for guests.

Carol Ganick has been a teacher of watercolor painting at the West Hartford Art League for almost 20 years. She works in various media including acrylic, oil, printmaking and watercolor. Having exhibited widely in Connecticut independently, in group shows and in juried shows, her awards include work submitted to the Connecticut Watercolor Society, Canton Gallery on the Green, the West Hartford Art League, and Guilford Arts Center. In addition to teaching at the art league, she teaches privately and has conducted workshops and demonstrations for various organizations. Work by her and many of her students may be seen at flickr.com/carolganick.
