Bennington Art Museum presents the permenant exhibition of Grandma Moses. We are proud to introduce a selection of works by Anna Mary Robertson Moses (1860 – 1961), known as Grandma Moses, one of America’s original and well likes folk artists.
Grandma Moses did not begin to paint until her seventies and when she died in 1961, she had created over 1500 works of art!
The Bennington Museum holds the largest selection of Moses’ paintings in the country, as well as her art supplies and equipment.
