Peabody Essex Museum of East India Square presents Faberge Revealed.

A Russian Fabergé jeweled egg is made by the House of Fabergé from 1885 to 1917. Though small eggs were designed as jewelry, the most popular works were created as large eggs for Alexander III and Nicholas II of Russia; these are often referred to as the ‘Imperial’ Fabergé eggs.

The Faberge Revealed exhibition will showcase over 230 singular works created by the House of Fabergé in the late 19th and early 20th centuries and will include enameled clocks, gold cigarette cases, hardstone carvings, ruby encrusted brooches and four signature imperial eggs made for Nicholas II and the Romanov family.
