One of the programs driving significant excitement at the Art Center is POP•IN. This series of community-based art happenings re-imagines our downtown building with “one night only” expressions of creativity by artists and artisans. By injecting the Art Center with a spirit of pop-up culture and collaborating with diverse artists, we are able to immerse participating community members in unusual, accessible experiences, whether they planned to attend or wandered in off the street. The talented young leader/artist Charlie Reischl is managing the series and being mentored along the way by Art Center staff. Our June POP•IN will highlight processes and products of electric and electronic arts.
