The Greene County Council on the Arts is auctioning off original artworks from a deck of playing cards designed by 52 of the Hudson Valley’s best artists, including Kiki Smith. Starting bids for locally based, nationally represented artists begin at $60. Get a Portia Munson (represented by PPOW in NYC) flower mandala, a Matt Bua ‘zine-style 3 of clubs, a queen of clubs by New Yorker cartoonist Michael C. Witte, an original encaustic work by Lorrie Fredette. The live auction of original works will take place during the closing reception on Saturday, March 8th at 5pm.
