Ernesto Montenegro will lead a talk titled, Personal Observations from Our Contemporary Fishbowl. How do we distinguish between what is nonsense and what is art in our contemporary world? Who validates what is supposed to be the art of our time? What is the difference between rip van winkleism and avant-garde and new-next? We will use Sarah Thornton’s book “Seven Days in the Art World” as an anchor and profile of our contemporary fishbowl.
