The museum’s permanent collection originated from gifts donated to the university during the early stages of the museum’s planning and development.
Over time with the gifts from many collectors in the Rogue Valley, the collection grew to over 500 objects of art. The museum has tried to maintain as diverse a collection as possible with examples of various media, styles and cultures for exhibition and research.
