Boston Sculptors Gallery presents the opening reception for two concurrent solo shows, “Leap of Faith Forward” by artist Leslie Wilcox & “SeaChange” by artist Sally Fine

Leslie Wilcox’s solo exhibition Leap of Faith Forward, begins an existential journey of exploration into the concept “Leap of Faith.” This show features animated interpretations created from driftwood and enhanced with fiberglass, plastic, and metal wire screening.

Sally S. Fine’s solo exhibition of new sculpture, SeaChange explores the impact of climate change, pollution and ovefishing on sea creatures. Embracing a wide range of materials and processes, Fine’s work includes carved wood, cast and slumped glass, riveted metal, and electroluminescent wire. Her sculptural shipwrecks are hybrids—part sh, part ship, part sea— while the sea creatures she depicts are both realistic and visionary.
