MillHouse and the Cotton Mill Partners, Ltd. invite you to attend our third juried Mural Festival at the Cotton Mill located at 610 Elm Street, McKinney, Texas 75069.

The festival will be held on Saturday, June 1 and Sunday, June 2 from 10 am to 4 pm. MuralFest is open to the public free of charge. The Friday evening Meet-the-Artists reception on May 31st is open to VIP PASS holders. Fort Worth musician Ginny Mac will perform during the Friday reception. Food and drinks will be provided by theMagazine – Fairview + Lucas and Favorite Brands.

Muralists will paint 4 original designs on the southeast walls of the historic Cotton Mill facility. In addition, ten artists will paint 48×96 inch mobile murals, which will be auctioned off during the festival. In addition to watching murals come to life, participants can enjoy food and drinks, performances by local musicians, and a community canvas paint zone.

Alex Bugg of Littleton, Colorado is this year’s featured muralist for her “Spirit of Texas Music” design, which is featured on our collectible festival T-shirt. Additional wall muralists include: Trenise Williams, Denise Kendrick, and Audie Pope. The ten artists painting mobile murals include Corin Wilke, Pam Ewell, Anna Terry, Carly Haynie, Bree Smith, Rita Vicari, Jessica Carder, Nolan Mueller, Ivanevid, and Danielle Mio Sogna. Each of their mobile murals will be auctioned online during the festival. Take home mobile murals can be purchased through online bidding at https://app.galabid.com/muralfest2024.

The Music Stage, sponsored by the HEB Helping Here, features the following artists: Erick Fayard, Amanda Riley, Abram Olivas, Rachel Stacy, and the Travelin’ Jed Band.

The $50 VIP Pass includes admission to the Meet-the-Artists opening reception on Friday at the Cotton Mill, a collectible festival T-shirt and glass, and access to the shaded VIP section throughout the festival. Tickets are available on the MillHouse website. Food is available for purchase with Luchas Tacos, Oopsie Scoopsie Italian Ice, as well as beverages by the Boozy Bar.

MillHouse Foundation is a tax exempt 501(c)(6) charitable and educational organization to promote female artists and entrepreneurs. The Foundation partners with the Cotton Mill Partners to offer art festivals to showcase local and regional talent, and to bring art patrons to historic McKinney.
