Welcome UK based artist Debra Franses into the Westport gallery, and enjoy speaking with the creator of the celebrated and unique ‘Artbag’ sculpture collection. Combining originality, luxury, prestige and an element of playfulness, Debra’s beautifully crafted pieces represent the world’s most glamorous handbags. As well as exploring the modern phenomenon of self-curation and how the objects we carry reflect our personalities, these stunning pieces reinforce the dreams and aspirations of modern women. Since her first solo show in New York City in 2009, Debra has exhibited in prestigious locations all over the world, and her collaborators and clients include Gucci, Harvey Nicols and Selfridges. Join us in the gallery for an evening of fine art, fizz, friendship and fun.
