A FREE lecture by Virginia Walsh, director and curator of the Ann Street Gallery in Newburgh, NY. She will lead a 2-hour seminar covering the multifaceted approach to being a successful gallery artist. Participants will learn about portfolio presentation and preparation, image packaging, resumes, artist statements, website development, and business practices. Alternative marketing methods and opportunities will also be explored. Q&A will be encouraged as well as discussion among attendees. Time permitting, Ms Walsh will review individual portfolios and provide feedback.
