Jerry Weiss will hold a landscape painting workshop on Thursday, June 16 and Friday, June 17. Paint all day at beautiful sites in the Old Lyme/Connecticut River Valley areas. You must bring a portable easel, painting supplies and outdoor gear (hats, sunscreen, water, repellent, trash bags, drop cloth) and multiple canvases or panels. If some rain is forecast we’ll have sheltered sites; if it’s a total washout, tuition is refunded and we’ll attempt to reschedule.

Jerry will paint demos and discuss drawing, composition, simplified value and color choices, skies, water, trees and architectural shapes. Enrollment is limited to ten students. Tuition is $250 ($225 for current Art Students League students). A $100 deposit will hold your place, and can be refunded until June 9. Tuition must be paid in full prior to the workshop.
