John Nieman, the prolific artist-writer from Dobbs Ferry will unveil a new art installation October 16-November 15 at Blue Door Gallery
The OPENING artist’s reception is on Thursday October 16 from 6-8 p.m.
It’s called, “What is Missing?” The presentation includes dozens of milk cartons that evoke the missing children of the 80’s…but instead of the lost young ones, this artistic presentation chronicles the lost values in America. Each is designed, created, produced, personally signed and exhibited on milk crates.
This is part of a solo exhibit called, “Art with a Story.” It will feature thirty or more original paintings with recorded short stories that connect with the pictures.
Nieman, an internationally exhibited artist, will also present a powerpoint presentation on “It’s pretty, but What’s the Story?” on November 1 from 2-4 p.m.
