Avon Arts is Popping Up! FINAL WEEKEND!!! The Avon Arts Association is sponsoring a “pop up” or temporary Holiday and Fine Art Gallery and Store at the Old Avon Village, 35 E Main St., Rt. 44, Avon CT. (look for the big rocking chair) It will be open this weekend from Friday, December 19th to Sunday December 21st. Hours are: Friday 12pm – 7pm. Saturdays 10am – 5pm. and Sunday 10 – 3pm There are 16 participating artists from the area, some of them local and national award winners. Its a great opportunity to find unique artwork in a variety of mediums. Works are available as originals, prints and cards; perfect holiday giving or an opportunity to treat yourself. Some artists will be offering sale prices on select pieces. This final weekend some are reduced even further. A portion of all sales helps to support the Avon Arts Association Scholarship Fund.
