The Pembina State Museum presents its permanent collection of local history and art. As visitor enter the building they follow the river graphic in the sidewalk to discover the region’s history. Discover fossils from the glacial Lake Agassiz,stone and tools of the first visitors. See an oxcart and objects of the original fur trade industry.

At the museum visitor can learn about the peoples of Pembina including Native American peoples and Euro-American settlers. Exhibitions include the work and art of the regional people today.

The temporary exhibit gallery offers changing exhibits that highlights a variety of art collections of the State Historical Society of North Dakota.
