Morrison Gallery is pleased to announce an exhibition of new work by George-Ann Gowan, entitled Coming Attractions. George-Ann was born in Corpus Christi, Texas in 1948, and trained in art at William and Mary, from which she graduated magna cum laude with a degree in Fine Art. After many years of studying under well known watercolorist Edgar Whitney, egg tempera artist Richard Carroll, and painter Yuri Vashenko, George-Ann turned her focus to bricolage. This exhibition will include new bricolage constructions from the past two years.
