Visions of Aztlán explores the Chicano Art art movement that flowered amid the confrontations and turbulent street demonstrations of the 1960s. Directed by veteran Chicano filmmaker Jesús Salvador Treviño, Visions of Aztlán introduces us to a generation of Mexican-American artists who were inspired by the Chicano Civil Rights Movement to portray Mexican-American life at a time when the community was largely invisible in the popular culture. 2010. 58 minutes.
