Clyfford Still Museum announces the second installation of the inaugural exhibition that represents several new works from the Museum’s vault. The second installation includes paper drawings, paintings and discoveries made since the gallery opening of 2011.

Considered the most anti-traditional of the Abstract Expressionists, Still is felt to be the originator of the movement in the United States. While several of his representational paintings are on view, his abstract work occurred between 1938 and 1942, earlier than several artist painting in similar styles.

Works from both books will be on view until October 2012, titled Clyfford Still: The Artist’s Museum, published by Skira Rizzoli Publications in association with the Clyfford Still Museum.
