Smithtown Township Arts Council is pleased feature The Fine Art of Illustration. The exhibit features original artwork of fine artists who specialize in Illustration and will be on view from January 21 through February 19, 2017 at the Mills Pond House Gallery, 660 Route 25A, St. James, NY.

Mills Pond House Gallery hours are: Wednesdays – Fridays 10 am – 4 pm and Saturdays – Sundays 12 pm – 4pm. The gallery is closed Mondays and Tuesdays. STAC invites the public to an opening reception on Saturday, January 21 from 2-4 pm to meet the exhibiting artists and view their work.

The Fine Art of Illustration showcases a diversity of styles, approaches and techniques that illustrators use to communicate ideas. A wide variety of styles and media is represented, both traditional and digital. Exhibited artworks are the original designs created for integration in published media…advertising, communication, reporting, books, magazines and other media.
