Winston Wachter Fine Art is excited to announce its first solo exhibition with artist Julia von Eichel, Scream In My Throat, from June 2nd to July 29th, 2016. The exhibition will feature predominantly monochromatic mixed media sculptures that protrude from the walls into the surrounding space. Von Eichel was challenged in the wrapping of the skeletal structures of wood, thread, and Wiffle Balls with white silk this was a manifestation of the artists own struggle to wrap her mind around a personal loss. The show will also feature abstract drawings that have a similar unrestrained, kinetic energy that, like the sculptures, expresses an anxiety that we feel when pushed to our physical and emotional limits.

The opening will be held on Thursday, June 2nd from 6-8pm at Winston Wachter Fine Art. The gallery is located on the ground floor of 530 West 25th Street, New York, NY 10001. Winston Wachter is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10-6pm.
