This summer, Pippin Contemporary will celebrate local artist Rebecca Haines and her contemporary wildlife paintings from June 1st through June 15th. The Artist Feature will coincide with the Edible Art Tour, an ARTsmart sponsored event pairing the city’s best galleries with top restaurants and caterers. More than twenty galleries participate each evening, Friday on Canyon Road and Saturday on the Plaza, for a spirited weekend of art and hors d’oeuvres. Pippin Contemporary will host Chef Ahmed Obo from Jambo Café on Friday June 10th, 5-8pm, and Rebecca Haines will be in attendance to discuss her work with interested visitors. Interact with the artist as you snack on Jambo’s delicious African cuisine! Ticket proceeds from the Edible Art Tour support ARTsmart’s youth programs in local schools.
