Argentine-Italian artist Lucio Fontana (1899–1968)will be represented at the Aspen Art Museum this fall. A new and insightful artist of the of the twentieth century, pushed the ideas of art and the concept of the artist’s finished work.
Popular for Concetti Spaziale, the positive and negative space study and torn canvases, clay modeling and ceramics have also played a powerful role in his work.
