Charles Carroll Jr. documents through prints and original works of art the landmarks, landscapes, and historical moments of Baltimore and the surrounding areas.
This exhibition highlights 20 views of Homewood and includes familiar prints as well as original works of the Washington and Battle monuments from a sailor’s sketchbook. A 1814 schoolgirl embroidery of the Baltimore Basilica shows the intended structure which was not completed until 1821.
