Immerse yourself in the world of Hudson River School landscapes with this special centennial lecture by Dr. David B. Dearinger, the Susan Morse Hilles Curator of Paintings & Sculpture and Director of Exhibitions at the Boston Athenæum. Specializing in nineteenth-century American art, Dr. Dearinger will lead us in a close look at the historical and artistic significance of the first school of American painting. Following the lecture, take a closer look at Fruitlands collection of Hudson River School landscapes in the centennial exhibition 100 Objects, 100 Stories, 100 Years at Fruitlands Museum.
