The Avon Arts Association will hold its monthly meeting on Tuesday, November 17th, 2015 at 7:00 pm in Avon Town Hall, 60 West Main St. building #1. Artist, Kate Tortland, will demonstrate techniques using oils. The public is welcome to this free demonstration. Although Kate draws inspiration from many sources, her work is mostly reminiscent of the traditional landscape painters of the mid 1800’s. Kate will conduct a workshop on Saturday November 21st from 9:30 am to 2:00 pm at the same location. Workshop fees are $35 for members and $45 for guests. For more info contact www.avonarts.org.
