In conjunction with the exhibition “Forty Years Interpreting Tradition”, retired UMass Dartmouth Textile Design/Fiber Arts professor Marjorie Durko Puryear will be a featured speaker for Forty Years from Structo to Jacquard, and Back on Sunday, November 9th at 2:00pm. Puryear is an exhibiting FIberArtist and member of both the Handweavers Guild of America and the Weaver’s Guild of Boston. She recently completed work as the Exhibits Coordinator for CONVERGENCE 2014-Handweavers Guild of America Conference in Providence RI.
