Mar. 12, 2016, 06:00 pm
Transformations Gallery invites the public to an opening reception to launch its first solo exhibit of year on March 12, 2016. Dubbed “Art and Sound” and hosted by Edison based artist and musician Steve Beal, the event will include a diverse collection of his watercolors and sketches work, live music and a discussion about his approach and process when it comes to both art and music. The reception is at the historic Old Franklin Schoolhouse in Metuchen NJ from 6 to 9PM and the work will remain for viewing during select gallery hours through April 2016.
Founded in 2102, Transformations Gallery hosts art shows of varying lengths and themes throughout the year at the Old Franklin Schoolhouse exclusively and is open by appointment, at all public events, and on scheduled “Open Invitation Sundays” when we welcome visitors to see the art work and interact with the exhibiting artists. All artwork in the gallery is for sale and any purchase helps support a local artist and the preservation of this historic site. The gallery is overseen by BIL members Judy Weinberg & Amy Brooks.
