Anyone who portrays horses in their art will benefit from a firm grounding in equine anatomy. This study will concentrate on structural parts of the horse that bear on the outward appearance. Muscles, tendons, and ligaments will be reviewed. The instructor is Shelley Hunter, a painter and sculptor who knows equine anatomy and has created many pieces of award-winning art. Her work is in numerous collections, and includes two large, public sculptures at the Kentucky Horse Park, Lexington, Kentucky. Tuition is $300.. To register email [email protected]
