Bridgman|Packer Dance: TRUCK & Remembering What Never Happened
Silvermine Arts Center
Sep. 11, 2015, 08:00 am
Don’t miss Bridgman|Packer Dance’s triumphant return to Silvermine, with their unique approach to integrating live performance and video technology, making video their third partner. The evening will be in two parts. First, audiences will alternate between viewing TRUCK, which is designed to be performed inside the bed of a 17-foot box truck; and an outdoor interactive video installation.
The entire audience will then move indoors to Sara Victoria Hall to experience Remembering What Never Happened. In this expansion of their signature integration of live performance and video technology, memory becomes a constantly shifting territory as they delve into the changeable nature of time, form, perception and identity.
Funded in part by the Expeditions program of the New England Foundation for the Arts, made possible with funding from the National Endowment for the Arts, with additional support from the six New England state arts agencies. This performance was also funded through a National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) Art Works grant.
