Cedar & Quill Art Gallery is now accepting submissions for its “Winter” exhibit. To us, winter means a time of rest, reflection and renewal. We want to see what winter means to you!

“Winter” will run between March 1 – March 31. All 2-D art media accepted including drawings, paintings, prints and photography. No video. The theme is open to artist interpretation and must include imagery that represents winter.

Submit entries and review terms, dates and deadlines on the website. Accepted artwork must include the medium and a completion date (within the past five years, 2015-2020).

Application fee (USD and non-refundable) is $25 for 1-3 works plus $10 each additional. Payments and artwork must be submitted at the time of application. Deadline for submission is 5:00 PM EST on February 17, 2020.

Accepted artists will be notified via email no later than February 25, 2020. A Jurors Choice Award will grant the selected artist a front page feature on the gallery’s website for the duration of the “Winter” exhibit and will include an artist statement regarding the featured work.

All works will be judged based on visual quality and the creative way in which the artist best relates to the theme. After the conclusion of each show, all works, along with artists’ contact info, will be placed into the gallery’s archives for future public viewing.
