The Wassaic Project is looking for a 2022–23 Programming Fellow!

Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and professional team-member to work in a collaborative and creative office alongside our Director of Artistic Programming and help assist all of the Wassaic Project’s exhibitions, public programs, special events, and artist residency program. The ideal candidate will be an exceptional organizer with experience in the arts who has an awesome rapport with their co-workers. Special consideration will be given to those with experience in exhibitions and/or programming, and those who are also visual and/or performing artists.

This position includes assisting with our year-round artist residency program, annual Summer Exhibition and year-round exhibitions in the Maxon Mills gallery, artist and critic lectures, virtual programs, as well as additional seasonal community events including the annual Haunted Mill in October and 1-2 Summer Block Parties, among other events. We expect the Wassaic Project’s programming to continue to grow in the next few years and we are looking for a dynamic individual to help us evaluate successful programming and how to focus our energies to increase attendance and support for our artists.
