WICKFORD ART CELEBRATES ABSTRACT & AVANT-GARDE ART, an All-Media, Juried Exhibit, OPEN to all Artists with Jurist JOAN HALL

Wickford Art Association is pleased to announce the CALL FOR ENTRY and EXHIBIT details for the 2020 Abstract / Avant-Garde Exhibit. With a curated in-gallery exhibit of works August 21 through September 13, 2020 and a limited, select virtual gallery which will be accessible on our website, WAA welcomes first-time jurist Joan Hall to select all works and award prizes. An all-media exhibit, WAA members and non-members are welcome to submit one to three works for consideration. The Abstract / Avant-Garde Exhibit will occur in-gallery from August 21 through September 13, 2020 and also as a limited virtual gallery online at https://wickfordart.org/abstract-avant-garde/ launching on August 25th. Announcement of awards will be made August 21st, yet an opening reception will not be held due to COVID-19 social gathering guidelines and physical distancing restrictions.

Admission to the gallery, located at 36 Beach Street, North Kingstown, RI is always free and open to the public Wednesdays through Sundays all summer (noon-3pm).

The Wickford Art Association is a non-profit organization with over 450 members from Rhode Island and New England. The association hosts art exhibits, classes, lectures, and workshops in its North Kingstown gallery and has produced the summertime Wickford Art Festival since 1962.
