My name is Mike and I’m organizing a one day group photography exhibition on Saturday, November 22nd in the Bushwick section of Brooklyn and I would love for you to be a part of it.

The show is called “V.S.C.O it” and photographers are being invited to showcase their work based off of one or more of the following metrics:

1. You take great pictures and edit them well with the VSCO app

2. If you don’t use the VSCO app, then you were invited because your images have a VSCO vibe.

3. Your photographs are taking in and around New York City.

VSCO is a photo editing app that is well received by both cell phone photographers and professional photographers.

I am only looking for 15 photographers and VSCO users that reside in the NYC area because you will need to be present during the show.

The exhibition will be held at Studio 301 It’s an industrial space that was recently converted into an art gallery/event venue. The exhibition will run from 3:00pm – 8:00pm. Each photographer will be provided with five feet, in width, of wall space. You are free to sell your photos at the show. If you don’t have a place to print your photos, I would recommend adoramapix’s website. You could order your prints through the website and have it delivered or you could pick the order up from their storefront location in Chelsea. Here’s the address for Adorama: 42 west 18th Street NY NY 10011, between 5th and 6th avenues. It’s really inexpensive and good quality prints. For example, you could print a 8×10 photo for as little as $1.50.

The photographs will be installed at the gallery the day before the event, Friday, 11/21/2014.

There is a hanging fee of $50 that helps subsidize rental cost, insurance, entertainment, light refreshments, advertising, marketing and other ancillary expenses. This will be collected during installation.

The event is being sponsored by my wine brand New Am. Roughly 100 – 150 people should attend the event. The audience will be a mix of young professionals, art enthusiasts and fellow artists. Entertainment at the event will be a 3 – 4 jazz band.

I look forward to seeing your work.
