Visual Art Inspired by Music

Hello Artists! We asked and you voted, our next show for 2019 is here! We are asking artists to create artworks inspired by music with a focus on surrealism and abstraction. This is an open medium show, we will be accepting all mediums including sculpture and photography. We will ask that you make mention of your song or composition choice(s) in your descriptions, to give credit to our inspirational artists and musicians. Abstract artists, we will be looking for artwork that communicates rhythm and melody using visual cues. Concrete artists, we will be looking for narratives and symbolism. So put on your favorite tunes, lay out the paint and create with us!

Entrance Price & Information
It is our goal to keep submission prices low in order to accommodate artists from all financial backgrounds. Each artist may submit up to 3 pieces for this event.

Our Process
Each submission will be reviewed by our team and you will receive an email confirmation for the status of each of your submissions. We will be judging entries based on Authenticity, Vision, Execution and Theme Guidelines. Use your descriptions to communicate your vision to our Judges. There will be an open voting segment of the show for the Popular Vote award. We will announce all winners shortly after its conclusion. If you are the winner of any of our prizes, we will be contacting you for payment information; so keep an eye out. If you would like to learn more about our process, visit the info page.

This is an exclusively online gallery event. Your work does not need to be shipped and your entries do not need to be hung. We will provide guidelines for photographing your work for display.
