Our long awaited 105th Annual Juried Exhibition will be back at the Bendheim Gallery in Greenwich, CT. Artwork for inclusion in the exhibit will be selected digitally using EntryThingy. Accepted artwork only will be brought to the gallery for the exhibition which will be live and in person. JUROR: Brinda Kumar is Associate Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art at The Metropolitan Museum of Art where her curatorial projects have included Nasreen Mohamedi (2016), Like Life: Sculpture, Color, and the Body (2018), Home Is a Foreign Place: Recent Acquisitions in Context (2019), Gerhard Richter: Painting After All (2020), Georg Baselitz: Pivotal Turn (2021) and Charles Ray: Figure Ground (2022). She is the author of several essays for museum catalogues and has published articles from her doctoral research on the history of collecting. She holds a BFA in painting and printmaking; an MA from the School of Arts and Aesthetics, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi; and an MA and PhD from Cornell University. Entry open to all member and also non-members. Works are not eligible if previously accepted for one of our juried exhibitions; if they have been exhibited in the Bendheim or GAS Galleries; or if completed prior to 2020. All submitted work must be attractively and appropriately matted, framed and/or presented. All works must be for sale. If a portrait, the price of a similar commission must be stated. No PORs. The Bendheim Gallery reserves the right to final approval of the selection of artwork for the exhibition. Entry fees will not be returned if the Bendheim chooses to remove a work from eligibility for exhibition.
