Summary: The Torpedo Factory Art Center invites artists and artist teams residing in Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia, to submit proposals for the Torpedo Factory Art Center’s temporary art installations to activate the building’s main spaces during the spring season from March – May, 2019. Artwork is encouraged but not limited to involve themes of the spring season, the Cherry Blossom Festival, and Earth Day. These themes will correspond to different programming that will be happening in the Art Center for the duration of the exhibition.
