Rockland County Art in Public Places seeks an artist/artist team to design and create a site specific public art project at a new, $35-million state-of-the-art Highway Department facility scheduled to open in Summer of 2022. The commissioned work will be installed in a 44′ x 41′ landscaped courtyard in front of the administration building. Five finalists will be selected to develop proposals, and each will receive a $500 honorarium. The commission is open to artists in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.
