INDUSTRA ART announces the open-call for submissions of exhibition projects in the exhibition program for 2019 in the INDUSTRA ART Gallery.

INDUSTRA ART is an open communication space for contemporary visual arts. Within a wide range of activities taking place in the whole of the INDUSTRA culture center, the Gallery program acts as an important link that connects various interest groups and social themes. The basic principle and the mission of exhibition concept is openness and flexibility to respond to current stimuli within contemporary visual arts. Our goal is to support exhibition projects and provide a place for their creation and to ensure good conditions for their implementation.

The open-call is primarily intended for the emerging generation of artists from the Czech republic, Europe and World, as well as artistic groups and curators. We prefer projects that can accommodate the entire exhibition space (please kindly refer to photos from prior exhibitions). The space is large enough to also accommodate group exhibitions well.

As part of the 2019 exhibition program, we plan to select a total of 9 exhibition projects.

To apply, it is required to send us the following:
– Filled-in form (available at industra.space)
– Current artist / curator CV
– Portfolio

Binding applications consisting of the above must be sent electronically in PDF format [email protected] by 31 July 2018 at the latest.

Exhibition projects will be selected by an artistic council composed of experts and representatives of INDUSTRA:
Ondřej Chrobák, Jana Písaříková, Alexandr Jančík, Jakub Hvězda

Gallery can provide:
– Financial grant for the realization of the exhibition in the amount of CZK 10,000
– On-site production and installation support
– PR (printed invitations, social networks, media)
– Professional photographs of the exhibition

The results of the selection process will be published on Industra’s Facebook page on the industra.space website no later than by the end of September 2018.
