Brickscape is a six week residency culminating in an exhibition. Four national artists and six West Virginia artists will be selected to have 24 hour access to a previously unoccupied historical space where they will create temporary, site-specific installation art. Each artist will have a designated area in the space in which they will create an installation that responds to the history and culture of the location and/or the surrounding community.

Preference will be given to proposals that provide an immersive or interactive environment that remains accessible to a diverse audience. All accepted artists will receive a $500 stipend and those who do not reside in close proximity will be provided housing. Artists working in all mediums are encouraged to apply.
