Locomotion Fitness, with assistance from the City of North Charleston Cultural Arts Department, is hosting a public mural competition. Lowcountry mural artists age 18 and up are invited to submit proposals for a public art piece to be painted on the exterior of Locomotion’s building, located at 4268 Spruill Avenue in Park Circle, North Charleston. Up to eight artists will be selected. Selected artists will be given a materials stipend to create a 10’x10’ mural and have an opportunity to compete for first, second, and third place prizes.
