The Charles Allis Art Museum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin announces a call to artists for a biennial juried art exhibition, November 15, 2018 – April 14, 2019. $1,000 Grand Prize; 2 Awards of Excellence – $500 ea.; $400 Margaret Rahill Memorial Award; $300 Director’s Choice; $100 Viewer’s Choice. Jurors: Faythe Levine, assistant curator at the John Michael Kohler Arts Center, and Ariel Pate, assistant curator of Photography at MAM.

Open to all artists who are current residents or native to Wisconsin. Art must be original, have been completed within the last two years, and never have been on display at the Charles Allis Art Museum or the Villa Terrace Decorative Arts Museum. Only online submissions will be considered. We accept two-dimensional and three-dimensional artworks, works on video, sound art (on headphones), and small-scale installations (size limitations for 2-D and 3-D works apply). No performance art, graphic design, virtual/augmented reality works, multimedia installations, or site-specific projects. (We love this work, but have logistical limitations). $25 per entry (up to 2 works per entry).
