Twenty artists will be selected for this new online group exhibit “Drawing 2018.” The exhibit and its participating artists will be extensively marketed worldwide to over 26,500 people, including art buyers, gallery owners, curators, and collectors.

One artist will be selected to receive the “Christopher E. Burke Fine Art Grant” of $500.00. This artist’s creation will become the exhibition image and will be used on the invitation, video title screen, and all online marketing pertaining to the exhibit.  In addition, the grant recipient will have a dedicated marketing campaign about their art and accomplishments sent to over 26,000 recipients worldwide. The artist will also be featured in the Art Market Newsletter.

Theme and Selection:

“Drawing 2018” competition curators are looking for drawings of any subject that are created traditionally, classically, or experimentally.  Drawings present original art and the myriad languages of humankind — universal communication conduits. A drawing can be formal and refined, ,expressive and energetic, limitless and timeless; it can capture our thoughts with doodling, marks, lines, or shaded areas expressing our external world and our individual perceptions. It is a record of humanity and our valuable connections to each other. The drawings submitted may be expressed in terms of representational, expressionistic, surrealistic, or abstraction genres.

Eligibility:
This competition is open to all artists and photographers 18 years of age or older. Entries must be drawings in any medium, including digital and experimental mediums.
