DBQFest 2026 (August 8–9) is now accepting applications for its juried art fair in historic Washington Park in downtown Dubuque, Iowa. Produced by the Dubuque County Fine Arts Society, DBQFest is Iowa’s longest-running arts festival, established in 1979. Each year, up to 60 artists are selected through a juried process representing a wide range of fine art and fine craft media. This free, two-day festival draws thousands of engaged attendees and features live music, performing arts, and interactive creative experiences alongside a vibrant artist marketplace.

There is no application fee. A $150 booth fee is due upon acceptance. Scholarships are available for emerging artists. The festival offers cash awards, an artist reception, and dedicated artist hospitality.

Located in the scenic Driftless Region and within convenient driving distance of major Midwest markets, DBQFest offers both strong audience engagement and a destination-worthy summer setting.

Applications close March 31, 2026. Notification by April 30.
