Call To Artists! Food: Grow it, Share it, Instagram it | Sept. & Oct. 2015

MICA Gallery is seeking artists for a show this pet. & Oct. 2015. We are seeking artists that have work regarding local food, urban farming, etc.

We are seeking artists that celebrate the local food movement, urban farms, farmers markets, growing food and more. Any medium will be considered.

Are you a potter or ceramist? MICA Gallery seeks artists to create place settings (one plate, one bowl, and one cup/mug), each artist will contribute one place setting to the communal dinner table. The table set with work from a variety of artists will become the center piece of the exhibit.

We are also looking for Instagram’s of your meals, both printed and digital. Food is both a personal and community experience. What do you eat? Printed photos will be displayed as art work in the gallery. Share with us using the hashtag #ShareAMealWithMICA
