The City of Cedar Park was incorporated in 1973 and this year, will be celebrating its 50th anniversary. To celebrate the City’s 50th anniversary, the City is seeking to commission an original sculpture to commemorate this significant milestone.

• The theme for the sculpture is as follows:
  Should be engaging for all ages
  Should be designed to delight the public
  Should capture the rich history and/or uniqueness of Cedar Park

The City will be installing the sculpture at the Cedar Park Sculpture Garden and will unveil it at the annual Taste of Cedar Park event in October.

Applicants must submit their completed proposal packet on or before 5 pm CST ON March 3, 2022. Packets should include a completed entry form, 2 high quality photos of a scale model, rendering, or sketch of the piece, and the artist’s resume and pictures or imagery of completed work they have done previously (if applicable). If applicable, please include where completed works were shown and if they sold.
