Annmarie Sculpture Garden & Arts Center invites emerging and established artists to submit original artworks to ‘Chronicles: Storytelling Through Imagery.’ Since the dawn of human existence, people have been using visual art to communicate stories. From the cave paintings of Lascaux to intricate hieroglyphs of ancient Egypt, art has been a fundamental way for people to document their experiences, beliefs, and feelings. Chronicles: Storytelling Through Imagery will explore the power of visual narratives by bringing together artworks that weave compelling stories using symbolism, composition, and emotion.

These works will highlight how contemporary artists engage in this age-old tradition by capturing moments, myths, and their personal histories in striking and imaginative ways.
