Soho Photo Gallery is a unique, member-run, nonprofit gallery located in the heart of New York City. We are currently running a membership drive to expand our membership base. Pay your $50 membership application fee by Nov. 19, 2022 and submit your portfolio for review by January 5, 2023 and we’ll waive our normal one-time $200 building fee. Benefits
Membership allows you to exhibit work in our gallery, located in the vibrant Tribeca arts district and keep 100% of the revenue on image sales. You also get access to a packed calendar of lectures and other events, including monthly working lunches and salons where members share work in progress. Most of our programs are on Zoom, allowing non-local members to participate fully in the life of the gallery.
Who Should Apply? We are looking for artists with a passion for photography, a clear and meaningful photographic vision, an appreciation for the craft, and a willingness to participate in the operation of the gallery. We’re open to new ideas; some of our members strive to re-imagine the meaning, and boundaries of photography, others to perfect a particular thread or technique.
