Soho Photo Gallery, founded by New York Times photographers as an outlet for their creative work, is celebrating its 50th anniversary. This unique nonprofit gallery is a member-run collective. As part of our anniversary, we are making a concerted effort to expand our membership base.

Membership allows you to exhibit work in our gallery, located in the vibrant Tribeca arts district and keep 100% of the revenue on image sales. You also get access to a packed calendar of lectures and other events, including monthly working lunches and salons where members share work in progress. Most of our programs are on Zoom, allowing non-local members to participate fully in the life of the gallery.

Who Should Apply?

 We are looking for artists with a passion for photography, a clear and meaningful photographic vision, an appreciation for the craft, and a willingness to participate in the operation of the gallery. We’re open to new ideas; some of our members strive to re-imagine the meaning, and boundaries of photography, others to perfect a particular thread or technique.
