Call for Artists: Woodstock Public Art Sculpture

The City of Woodstock, Illinois is seeking proposals for a large-scale public artwork piece that will be a permanent installation in the center of a roundabout near the Historic Woodstock Square. Please refer to the Request for Proposal at www.woodstockil.gov for details. The services the City is seeking to include are the design, fabrication, and installation of the artwork and foundation with a budget of $30,000. The Arts Commission has identified a list of preferred themes in the RFP, such as Woodstock’s arts and musical traditions, environmental activism, and history as the Typewriter City.
