Vital Spaces takes advantage of short- to mid-term vacancies in Santa Fe, New Mexico to offer artists affordable space to create, present, and connect. What space we can offer and for how long depends upon the buildings we are currently occupying throughout the city. In addition to studio space, we offer artists the opportunity to present work to their peers and the public and to lead paid workshops. We particularly seek to support non-commercial art in all media and work by underrepresented artists from within our city’s diverse arts community. Vital Spaces is a community-building project, so we seek participation by artists who intend to engage with one another and the broader public.
